Casey's Law allows the parents, relatives, or friends of a person with addiction to lawfully intervene and request involuntary, court-ordered addiction treatment.

No-cost Narcan/Naloxone is available at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department located at 650 Newtown Pike in Lexington during the Syringe Service Program:
Mondays: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Fridays: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
To receive no-cost Narcan/Naloxone, the recipient must complete a brief training on how to administer it.
If you’d like to receive Narcan/Naloxone at an alternative time, please contact the Harm Reduction Program at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department at call (859) 899-4230.
Peace Assessment and Referral Center provides no-cost level of care assessments at many Lexington area hospitals, including Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Jessamine and Saint Joseph Berea.
Peace Assessment and Referral Center is located at 1401 Harrodsburg Road, Suite A-400 in Lexington.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
